Starting with public comment, resident from Ward 4 is present to talk about Woodhill Station West. Ms. Hunt is concerned about trash & air quality at the new building. Griffin said he is aware and is keeping an eye out on the issue.

Next is Matthew Ahn of W3 is present to support the Guardians for Fair Work legislation that is being introduced tonight. $39.2 billion is lost every year from wage theft, according to Ahn. Ahn says there are some gaps in the current leg. Read more here: guardiansforfairwork.com

Justin Strekal is up next to speak on the wage theft legislation. He says he has seen wage theft first hand across Cleveland and that businesses should not have to rely on exploiting their constituents to turn a profit.

Next is Sabrina Otis to talk about housing issues. She says that property owners are able to get exemptions on lead issues: "Don't keep passing stuff and then we the citizens find out that it doesn't work...I have a sick kid because of Building & Housing not doing their job."

Wanda Hill Chestnut of W6 on animal trapping: "They released a rat, the size of a possum, back into our yard." She's had multiple issues with animals being released onto her property & overall unhelpfulness from animal control. "Don't release another rat or racoon into my yard."

Antoine Tolbert from New Era Cleveland is present to talk about the issues they see while providing programs and assistance to their neighborhood. "Safety isn't just the job of police, it's all our responsibility. We have an issue with the culture of policing in Cleveland."

Judge Mona Scott is present to talk about the Pay to Stay legislation that was passed. She says that her court will be prepared to implement the new processes and is looking forward to working with partners to do so.

No presentations today. First readings are happening now! Ord. 855 will fund the Battery Powered Lawn and Garden Equipment Rebate Program. #856 constructing a championship synthetic ballfield and related improvements for area youth at Clark Field located at Tremont Valley Park.

#857- to participate in the State Plan of Operation to receive excess United States Department of Defense property to be used by the Division of Police as a law enforcement agency. Hadn't heard about this one.
