The board of directors meets regularly to address the ongoing challenges and opportunities facing the Metropolitan Atlanta Regional Transit Authority.
MARTA is the principal transit operator in Metro Atlanta, serving 1.7 million residents primarily by bus and rail. Its mission is to advocate and provide safe, multi-modal transit services that advance prosperity, connectivity and equity for a more livable region.
